As/Us, edited by Casandra Lopez and Tanaya Winder, is an independent literary magazine founded to showcase the creative literary expressions and scholarly work of both emerging and established underrepresented women writers particularly Indigenous and women of color. We hope to show the intersections between themes and subject matter across international and tribal borders. As/Us publishes a winter and spring issue both in print and online as well as an annual themed online summer issue. Our second issue features work by: Natalie Scenters-Zapico, Annam Manthiram, April Gibson, Lisa Marie Rollins, Tiffany Midge, Felicia Chavez, Mari Beltran, Kateri Menominee, Kimberly Williams, Jessica Helen Lopez, Safia Elhillo, Karen An-hwei Lee, Patricia Killelea, Jennifer Foerster, Lisa Gray, Shireen Hamza, JiaJing Liu, Nakita N Maseko, Cristina Correa, Jennifer Givhan, Hana Riaz, Cynthia Sylvester, a youth featured poet Michaela Pino, and guest V-Day contributors Aaron Yazzie, Reed Bobroff, Hank Richardson, and Alejandro Jimenez.
