An excellent early overview of the subject

This early treatise on the appearance of unidentifiable flying objects in antiquity is very well done. I personally disagree with some of the author's conclusions, but it _is_ an excellent introduction. Others, such as Childress and Rux have added to his findings, despite the constant ridicule of conservative academicians.
