Creates a feeling of immersion in another way of thinking

As with the Arabian Nights or the writings of Rumi, the tales encompassed here, as well as the encompassing narrative, communicate on multiple levels. It is always difficult to successfully relate this type of writing by a Semitic language speaker to a Romantic or Germanic audience. Here, the author's ability to create the narrative in French has preempted a great deal of the translator's work. The result is clarity within multiplicity.
