Aspire: Developing and Deploying Disciples in the Church for the Church

Aspire is written to provide a reproducible tool for disciple-making in the local church. It is divided into three, 12-week trimesters that are designed to help a disciple-maker grow a new disciple in the context of the local church. Each trimester is built on the unchanging truth of God's word while making specific application of those truths for modern readers. The first trimester (Gospel) focuses on the grand story of redemption through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Beginning with God's act of creation, and ending with His final consummation, Aspire traces the mission of God as told through the biblical narrative. The second trimester (Ministry) is designed to provide the means for personal transformation based upon the work of the gospel. New disciples will be led to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, in order to prompt a life of worship.The final trimester (Mission) will challenge the new disciple to see himself or herself as missionaries, and to live intentionality to declare and demonstrate the gospel. The mission of God propels the mission of his people in practical ways throughout their lives.
