A charismatic senator and his scandal-ridden family ruthlessly pursue their ambitions in the face of painful memories, alcoholism, and Case McCandless, a solid and incorruptible town sheriff. Original.
Another oldie from them, but more recent than the previous ones I've read--1995 for this one. About a wealthy political family that thinks they can get away with anything, and mostly do, this is reminiscent of the more recent On the Edge, with a heroine who's good at heart, but really screwed up. They really delve into the psyche and don't pull any punches. I'd have given it 5 stars, but the ending was a little too pat, and there were some hints of things that didn't go anywhere. Not for everyone--it's really... raw is a good description.
Wonderful Love Story

This is the first book I have read written by Ms. Erickson but it won't be the last. Two worlds are brought together under many obstacles only because two people believed in honesty and doing the right thing. Their values were in the right place and this brought them happiness like they had never known. I don't give many 5 ratings but this one deserves the highest mark allowed.
Another good book by Lynn Erickson

I'm beginning to think that if I see Lynn Erickson's name on a book, I will buy it. I have never been dissappointed in her books. This is about a head of the household running the family and how one breaks away from it. This one is worth buying.
