Practical sex-positive inspiration and a good laugh.

Marty Klein candidly explores the most intimate issues we faceas sexually alive beings. The book is a good cover to cover read aswell as an excellent resource book for questions you might have on any aspect of human sexuality. For instance, you might look up what Dr. Klein has to say about desire, fantasy, oral sex, or masturbation -- there are lots of questions on those topics. Some questions are just as entertaining as the answers, for example: "I heard of someone whose erection didn't go away. Why? How do I arrange this?" Of course Dr. Klein informed this person of the painful and unfortunate medical condition called Priapism. From why we get hornier in the summer to the challenges of asking what you want from a partner to the potential dangers of blowing air into a vagina during oral sex, Dr. Klein brings us practical health and medical information with respect and a boundless sense of humor. The chapter on spirituality is refreshing and unusual for a book of its scope. The chapter on homosexuality is short but I think strategically so, as it is palatable to the widest possible audience. I am grateful for Dr. Klein's validating, direct and responsible approach a topic as essential, vital and complex as human sexuality.
