This is a nice addition to books on animal habitats. Theintroduction of new vocabulary words, such as badgers'"setts" and armadillos' "dugouts" provides young readers with exposure to words they might not otherwise encounter. The rhymes, although occasionally awkward, are simple and to the point. The illustrations nicely support the text, and make a pleasant book for reading aloud or for simply leafing through with your favorite child.
