Ark of the Chimeron: That Which Would Become Lore

After the dramatic firing of Noah Harlow and Rebekah Winters, the Chimeron Program is thrown into hiatus. A massive changing of the guard takes place at the United World Federation (U3F). The focus is now placed on Dr. Midori's transference technology.

In a nutshell, the groundbreaking procedure transfers human consciousness into a cyborg brain. This would allow well-trained soldiers to continue their service indefinitely. Within the safe confines of a Bio-Nan body. The theory is sound. However, the results remain 'messy.'

Meanwhile, Inktomi continues to teach the Chimeron in the mystic arts. But the old shaman must do so, in secrecy. He desperately tries to keep mind-numbing bureaucracies out of his affairs.

The Chimeron still have a role in the conflict to come. Little by little, Inktomi tells tale of the Great War between the Darklings and the Starling borne. Their legendary battles are as ancient as the stars. The consequences for failure are catastrophic.

It's a lot for the two-year-old Chimeron to absorb.
