Arabia Without Sultans Tells All

Halliday's Book is an excellent book to get to know the political scene throughout the Middle East. His book has excellent maps and provides an excellent insight into life and society within most Arab countries. Most of what Halliday writes is quite unknown to western readers. It has shocking revelations of corruption within both royal families, governments and the military. It is a great read. Although it is factual, some of the information reads like a thriller!
