useful list of issues and tasks

This workbook is designed to aid the student who already has taken classes in social work, and who has several texts on the subject. Roughly, it is a detailed ticklist of issues that you should be aware of, when conducting research in the field. One example is a question about a major disadvantage in collecting data from a focus group. While another question is about extra information that you, the interviewer, might garner, if you question subjects in their homes rather than in a neutral setting. The section on statistical analysis is rather elementary. But the student is unlikely to be a stats major. So the questions are kept simple.
