wonderful early book on user interface design

When this book was published in the 1980s it was one of the first on user interface design. The author went on to work for Apple computer where he was responsible for much of the superb documentation for the Macintosh computer. Outdated though this book is, it belongs on the bookshelf of anyone interested in user interface design and how the vision of that subject has evolved over the years.
