For thirteen-year-old Frankie Sopravvissuto, living in small-town suburbia as an adolescent boy is a drag. While he's busy preparing for a trip to his grandmother's-including an epic battle with one of her ill-fitting handmade sweaters-all hell breaks loose. Before he knows it, the neighborhood turns into bloody war zone. The violent and hungry zombies are quickly taking over, and within minutes, Frankie's boring, ordinary life is gone forever. And so are his parents. He's left to face the nightmare alone and must quickly learn to survive or else he'll be next.
