This brought me back to my childhood.

This is a wonderful resource for anyone interested in true gardening. The photos are lovely! So many of the plants are used in herbal medicine (read of their history within the pages of this charming book) or are flowers your grandmother had in her garden by the back door. Katherine has such a terrific knowledge of plants that, without being at all stuffy she can let you know where and how to use them. It's not a dry read at all. Get this book and you won't be disappointed.
