Anna's Hope by Birdie Etchison tells part of the historical fiction story of Ms Etchison's ancestors. The story is entirely credible, as Ms Etchison now lives and writes from the area of upper Oregon/lower Washington, separated by the Columbia River. An interesting, engaging story.
