Third-grader, Anna Skoggen, struggles to express her true personality, and finally finds a way to be herself and become friends with her older sister, Kimberly.
I really enjoyed this book as a kid, perhaps because I am an Anna myself. I followed all of Anna's scrapes with sympathy and understanding (what preteen doesn't understand how hard life can be?) and rejoiced in her triumphs. This is a nice, well-written children's book that any preteen girl would enjoy. Especially worth tracking down for any little Anna you know and love.
