Baby Animals, Gotta Love `em

A baby cat is a kitten. A baby dog is a pub. A baby pig is a piglet. And so it goes in this darling reader that will introduce your beginning reader to fifty-one words, some of them she may know. Most of the words, as you might guess, are animal related. Tom Dunningan's excellent watercolor type illustrations complement Bobbie Hamsa's text perfectly. Your child will just love this book. I like all the Rookie Reader books. They are just a great way to get a little pre-schooler started on his or her reading career. And an early start is so important in today's world. Children need every advantage they can get, so if you're a parent or guardian of a precious little one, I highly recommend Rookie Reader books. The dividends they will pay in the long run will be priceless.
