Angels watching Over Me

This book is a wonderful tale about a girl in the hospital and what she faces. This book helped me understand more about the Amish then I've ever known. I respect them more now then ever. This book is so gripping I spent a whole night reading it! I would recomend this book to everyone I know. Plus it isn't just a once a year Chirstmas time book eather. I would read it all year long if I didn't have school in the morning!

Angels Watching Over Me

The first and the best book in the trilogy of Leah and Ethan. Sixteen-year old Leah is hospitalized with nothing more wrong with her then a broken finger. Her mother, who has never really seemed to care for her, is away on a honeymoon with her new husband, Neil. Leah feels lonely, but is kept company by the family of her Amish roomate, Rebekah. Rebekah's older brother and sister, Charity and Ethan. As this magical and touching story unfolds they begin to become good friends and Leah learns more about the Amish way of life and their belief in God and angels. Leah also becomes attracted to Ethan. Then she recieves terrifying news about her medicial condition. As Leah tries to deal with the news, her friends are always there for he. It had a wonderful ending but which seemed a little rushed. This book could definetly have done with beng a few chapters longer. But still a great read, though the rest of the trilogy is a let-down.

A touching story!

"Angels watching over me" is not only about strength but also that friendship can break all barriers and angels really do watch over us and protect. Everyone should read this book and all the other Lurlene McDaniel books. This book really is touching.

The Best Book by McDaniel yet!

Angles watching over me is a great book. It is a bit dull in the begining, but the middle and the endding is great. You really get to know the characters and get to love them. It is a very sad and touching story.

This book is a touching story of friendship and miracles.

This book has a very touching story. When Leah goes to the hospital with a broken finger, and the doctors want to have more tests done. That's where the suspension starts. It also tells even if you look different, or believe in a different religion, ( in Rebekah, Charity, and Ethan's case) ( they are Amish) that they can still be your true friends. I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes a little bit of suspension, and miralces. Miracles with friendship and angels.
