Welcome back to Virgin River with the books that started it all...
Four years ago, air force sweethearts Franci Duncan and Sean Riordan reached an impasse. She wanted marriage and a family. He didn't. But a chance meeting proves that the bitter breakup hasn't cooled their sizzling chemistry.
Sean has settled down in spite of himself--he's not the cocky young fighter pilot he was when Franci left, and he wants them to try again. After all, they have a history...but that's not all they share.
Franci's secret reason for walking away when Sean refused to commit is now three and a half: a redheaded cherub named Rosie who shares her daddy's emerald-green eyes. Sean is stunned--and furious with Franci for the deception.
News travels fast in Virgin River, and soon the whole town is taking sides. Rebuilding their trust could take a small miracle--and the kind of love that can move mountains.
Don't miss Robyn Carr's next uplifting novel, The Friendship Club, where four women come together at a tumultuous time in their lives, forging an unbreakable bond that will leave them all forever changed--available January 2024

I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to each new book. I noticed the very mixed reviews this book has been getting but bought it anyway. I simply can't understand the negative reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and especially appreciated the mix of characters and story lines. The Virgin River series is as much about community as it is about individual couples and this entry greatly developed that theme. Eagerly awaiting the next book. CV, Los Angeles
I'm Totally Baffled

At all the bad reviews this book is getting. I seriously think that all the people who have said that this book didn't take place IN virgin river and that it DIDN'T have enough of the virgin river characters NEVER read the book! This takes in several places in virgin river and characters from other books do pop up in what seemed like every other chapter! so I am completely baffled at those reviews. With that said I have to say that I enjoyed this book like I've enjoyed every other book in this series. It was full of love, heartache, troubles and tribulations and it simply made you feel good! Although I do not agree with keeping a child away from it's parent for any reason I understand why she made the choice she did. This was another 5 star review for me! Next book please!
Stayed up til 3 AM reading. . .

This book was downloaded to my kindle at 2 am on the 26th, so I had it all day, but I put off reading it because of the plot. Finally last night I started to read it. I wasn't sure that I was going to like it. I didn't like the initial set up, and there is one scene when the hero & heroine meet in a grocery store that I thought was over the top. And quite honestly I thought both the hero & heroine acted like immature children but then the story just grabbed hold of me and I couldn't put it down. I love the character growth that Ms. Carr showcases so well. Some people don't enjoy the multiple threads and at times I have gotten tired of all the people in her books. But I thought the balance was excellent. And this book seems like a perfect set up for the next book. If I had to pick a reason why Robyn Carr's book work so well for me, it would be that the characters seem like real people. People that I would want to have as neighbors. I initially rated this book a B + but tonight I plan on re-reading it or at least parts of it. Anytime I feel that way about a book, then it is an A read for me.
Loved it!

This was such a fun read. The whole Virgin River series is amazing and the stories keep getting better. This one was full of humor (Rosie is hysterical!) and even a little racier than the past books. I can't wait to read about the other Riordan brothers and to find out where Sean ends up when he comes back.
Angel's Peak
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 14 years ago
Four years ago Franci Duncan made the mistake of asking her boyfriend, Sean Riordan, where their relationship was heading. The answer she received led to harsh words that neither could take back and while the Air Force transferred Sean to another location Franci left the service and disappeared. Now Sean stumbled across her, the one woman he's never gotten over, and she's got a huge surprise for him. His daughter Rosie! Now Sean has determined that not only will he have his daughter but he'll also get Franci back. But that maybe easier said than done. With the history they share and Sean's pending deployment to Iraq can they find the love that once shared and build on it to make a family? Angel's Peak is another wonderful chapter in Robyn Carr's Virgin River series. Franci and Sean twist themselves around your heart making you yearn for their happy ending. I admit it, I'm addicted to the Virgin River series. I just cannot get enough! Melissa Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed
