A new adventure follows Eric Dexter as he again returns to the jungles of the Yucatan. He rejoins his Maya friends for further research into their almost forgotten history.

His previous two seasons there, as told in "The Dead Living Mummy" ignited in him a thirst for past history closer to home.

In "The Ancient Ones" he chose the American south west. His simple search for signs of early indigenous life spiraled into an exciting discovery of connections far and wide that could possibly rewrite history as we know it today.

An added bonus for Eric was finding love which had eluded him for so long, by choice mostly because of his work and ancient research. The peace and majesty of the desert opened up the pathway to unasked for romance in the form of a Navajo woman. Her twin names of Dove of Spring or Violet matched her Navajo bearing wonderfully as Eric fell under her spell.
