"But what I can control are my own actions. How I love every person God's placed in my life. How I share that love with the time He's allotted me."
Toni Shiloh always brings heart-warming tales full of faith to her readers and this story is no exception. I really enjoyed this contemporary marriage of convenience story between two best friends Omar and Trinity. It's a bit unique in that Omar and Trinity are best friends and grew up as next-door neighbors. So when they start their "marriage", they know each other so well that things seem to fall into place naturally, until their hearts start wanting more than just friendship and mutual help for each other's dire circumstances. Omar's grief for his deceased wife and fear of his newly discovered feelings for his best friend are very real, as are Trinity's fear of rejection after being abandoned at the altar and her blossoming love for Omar and his daughters. I loved Omar's tenderness with his young daughters and they definitely added a deeper layer of emotion to the story. Anyone who loves contemporary romance with a strong faith thread will totally enjoy this book.
