Editor's Note With the poem as the yarn bobbin, Beir Bua Press is continuously weaving innovative, visual and lyrical works. Always facing the warp, sometimes exposing it. Using the best of cotton to double half hitch and set the warp of each collection, within its paper covers, and knotting a tapestry of potential, talent and community. The tapestry on the front cover was created by me after Poetry that pushes back, that is past the avant-garde but does not wish to be a group. In fact, they do not wish to be even a thing that pushes back. There is no such thing as lyrical poetry that is not experimental. Language has the power to materialise concepts in all its ugly glory. There is no othering here amongst the cygnets nor poets...
