This is the craziest book I ever read in my life. When I finished, I felt somewhat gratified but remained unsure as to exactly what the author had said. Here's a quote from page 3 of this 1977 work: "...had the incredible damn taste to describe the bride... as built like a brick Gertrude Stein but the common bastard turned out not to be paralyzed, so they dropped the rustication!" Pretty much the whole book is like that -- it's a bizarre cross between Djuna Barnes and William Faulkner. While the idea of an armful of warm girl held a lot of appeal for me, I'm not sure that this particular experience was ever fulfilled. Still, this 130-page work is the greatest anti-communication I ever read. Recommended.
