Better than its title

A close friend gave me this book a few months ago and I enjoyed reading it. Frank La Forge was a remarkable pianist, teacher, and vocal coach in the early twentieth century. These memoirs mainly consist of recollections of his travels as an accompanist for several prominent singers (both humorous and interesting). While I can't say that every person who reads this book will love it as much as I did, I would recommend it to any musician, and I think that both singers and pianists would enjoy this one.
