Sweet read

I highly recommend this book to teens and adults. It’s a coming of age story told in first person. Teodoro is a failing high school junior who finds inspiration in an old family friend he is reacquainted with. His journey to self discovery and love is heart wrenching and lovely. I love the look into Latino and military family culture. I also love the settings ranging throughout the Pacific Northwest, California Central Valley and Southwest.
