I have made several patterns from this book for my friends at an Indian Center in southern MO. Patterns are easy, clear, and are from several tribrial nation's. This book is great for urban Native Americans since it is not exclusive. I highly recommend this book because it not only has patterns but give information about what the pattern represents.

Does the author have any connection to an Indigenous nation? Or is he profiting from the knowledge he has gathered from others?

This is one of my favorites in my collection of over 150 xs books. I especially enjoy the NW pacific designs. For those interested in the American Indian this is a must. Includes a little history as well.
