1979 American Family Cookbook

I received this cookbook from my bridal shower in 1982. This has been the overall best cookbook. Over the years Ive owned at least 50 cookbooks. This is the one that I do not give away. I love to cook & this book is like a bible. It has more then just recipes - techniques, terms, measurements, how to do it, ect...a little of everything possible. Over 800 pages! I've yet to see a cookbook as comprehensive as this one. There are other good cook books that I own but if I had to choose only one to take on the life raft with me it would be this one. I am buying another one used for my daughter. The Culinary Arts Institute should reprint it with some updates. :)Qapla'
