Very Well Done

Well written, and I agree with the first reviewer: not for novices. The book will be more meaningful to a reader who is already acquainted with the Korean War. The book is wide-ranging, succinct enough to keep you turning the pages, but with enough depth to get a solid handle on the evolution and dilemmas of airpower in the Korean War.

Informative but specialized

If you are well versed in basic Korean War history, but would like an introduction to the operational challenges that faced the Far Eastern Air Force, then this is the book for you. It does an admirable job at looking at the men and equipment engaged in the conflict.I found the discussion of pilot/crew morale particularly interesting as I had not read of it in the past.
