When I first came across this book in paperback form in a library I took notes, then shelved it. Later going back for a longer look, it was gone. Owning it, I find it to be a fascinating take on the 4 business types (and their suitors), the first of its kind to reveal the disruption in men's lives in the 80's and 90's due to breakdown of the social contract, changes that only complicate man's efforts to prevail in the business world. If Srully only went further in his thesis, it would be required career advice. The psychological insights pre-date "The Mind Of The Millionaire," and upon reflection, hold up as we turn to China. I think he could say something more too about the leadership deficiency on the world scene, when most of his implications seem problematic.
