The stage was set in the middle of the parking lot between the loading dock and the dumpsters where trash and recyclables were commingled.Had any dignitaries been invited to witness the spectacle, they would have remarked at the surprising lack of fire extinguishers in close proximity to the gas grill.'What if something goes horribly wrong?' many were wont to ask when invited to observe a SpringPark weekend safety festival or a Friday afternoon safety minute greatest hits celebration.The reality was of course, that Monty Post had painstakingly calculated the exact quantities of fuel required to deliver the full effect, while leaving nothing in surplus to generate collateral damage.
