A MUST READ for all!

One of the best books I have ever read. Picked it up and finished it in a single sitting. So well-written, it should be required reading for all intent on pursuing their passion and dreams. Powerful, deep, touching, real and extremely funny. Literature at its best. Brilliant.

Amarillo in August: An Author's Life on the Road

Purchased Amarillo in August at the Border Book Festival in Mesilla, sat down that evening to read and finished it. That tells you everything. By page 8, I was thinking "quirky, gutsy, and funny--with the emphasis on gutsy."

Fun and Empathy

I love this book! It is written in a sparkling style and entertains with so many funny incidents. As an author, I especially relate to the problems of writing schools, getting a publisher, and marketing books.

Great Read

These are a wonderful laugh-out-loud stories of Jonathan Miller's discoveries about life and himself. He has a marvelous self-deprecating sense of humor that makes it easy for readers to relate to the predicaments he finds himself in. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing his travels!

Humorous Anthology

This book is a collection of very funny short stories describing a New Mexico author's book tour for another book. He has a great sense of humor regarding himself and knows just how much of the story to tell. I especially liked his stories about signing on the same day a Harry Potter book was released, and also his poignant story about the girl singer at the Waffle House. This is a nice, quick book to read, and a lot of fun.
