Excellent series

I bought this book because my daughter had a loose tooth. She absolutely loves Amanda Pig and the Wiggley Tooth. She has read the book several times. When we go the library she looks for Amanda Pig books first. Excellent series.

This is the perfect book for the child who is anticipating the crisis of losing a first tooth!

Oh, my! When Amanda bit into her peanut butter sandwich she knew she might just get a visit from the Tooth Fairy because it was wiggle, wiggle, wiggly. She told William, Lollipop, Sam and anyone who would listen including her music teacher (who told her to sing). She wiggled her tooth when she jumped rope. She wiggled it on the monkey bars. It wasn't coming out. Mrs. Mary Ann Pig, her teacher told her the Tooth Fairy would soon come to her house, but in the meantime Amanda had to do her reading and math. That wiggle, wiggle, wiggly tooth was the first one she ever had that was loose. When she arrived home, Mother and Father took a peek at it . . . maybe the tooth would have to be pulled out. Oh, no! Now "having a loose tooth wasn't fun anymore." All of a sudden Amanda realized her tooth was missing. Oh, my! Without that tooth, the Tooth Fairy wouldn't pay her a visit! This Level 2, easy-to-read Amanda and Oliver Pig book is a fun book to read to or with the child who might be anticipating the crisis of losing his or her first tooth. Ann Schweninger's illustrations are charming and delightful. And anyone who's had a chance to meet Amanda will want to visit with her again!
