Professional baseball player Tim Salmon opens up about his hardships growing up and how a grandmother's faith set the stage for his remarkable career with the Angels, a team with an ingrained culture... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book reads more like an interview than an actual autobiography. With its numerous subchapters, it seems that R. Goldman went to Salmon and said "Garrett Anderson, go" or "Triple-A, go." There is no major revelations like many autobiographies of late. This book largely leans on Salmon's faith and how it influenced his drive and motivation in baseball. If you are a fan of Salmon, go read it. If not, skip it.
