Very cute, but...

If, like me, you remember their song from the 60's "Christmas Don't Be Late", be forewarned. It is not on the included CD.

An Adorable New Chipmunks Holiday Book

The three singing chipmunks known as Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, are absolutely ecstatic about Christmas, and just can't wait for their Christmas vacation. But then the sometimes-selfish Alvin finds out that a little boy, who just happens to be one of his classmates, is very sick, and needs his help to get well again. For the little boys parents don't have enough money to get him the wonderful harmonica that he's always wanted due to his high medical bills. But when Alvin gives the little boy his prized harmonica, which was a gift from Dave, he realizes how important it is to him, and has to find a way to get it back, while at the same time giving the sick little boy a new harmonica that is just as great. It is wonderful to see a new ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS picture book on the market, especially one that stresses the values of giving being better than receiving. The illustrations filling each page are absolutely lovely, and really capture the true essence of the Chipmunks, while the words tell a wonderful story that is sure to capture the hearts of all. And don't forget, the wonderful CD that's included features 5 songs performed by Alvin and the Chipmunks, that will brighten up anyone's day. A must have!
