The ending is kind of left up in the air for a possible sequel (though there isn't one); but young fans of occult suspense should like this first book in the Baby-sitter's Nightmares series, as well as the other three: "The Evil Child" (#2) by M. C. Sumner, "Lights Out" (#3) by Bernard O'Keane, and "A Killer in the House" (#4) by J. H. Carroll.
