However, one day Fiona wakes up to find that she has the power to control people's minds, and discovers that she might have inherited this power from her missing father, a successful businessman. Along with these crazy events, the usually quiet Fiona is becoming more and more popular. Will she win over her secret, amazingly cute crush, Joe? ALMOST FABULOUS is a different type of book that incorporates a lot of British culture (due to the author's British heritage).
