Sweet and satisfying

This is a really sweet, well written and ultimately satisfying story. I'm excited to discover the gifted Alexis Harrington and I would put her among the top romance writers. The story did seem a little slow at first but it is worth sticking to it.

Allie's Moon

This is a fabulous historical romance. I couldn't put it down. You immediately get involved with the characters. Allie has had such heartache in her life you just know things have to turn around for her and Jefferson Hicks, the ex-lawman, is just the man to help her do it. I highly recommend this book and all the others that Alexis Harrington has written. Her books are never a disappointment.

Wonderful Americana Romance!

Jefferson Hicks, once the Sheriff of the small town of Decker Prairie, Oregon, is now merely a shadow of his former self. ALLIE'S MOON is a wonderful Americana romance, reminiscent of the historicals of such reader favorites as LaVyrle Spencer, Dorothy Garlock and Rosanne Bittner. Love blossoms as Althea reminds Jeff of everything good in the world, dimming his memories of everything bad and making him feel not only good about himself but taking away the guilt that has been plaguing him and is the reason for his withdrawal from society.Alexis Harrington, who has been absent far too long while she has been in between publishers, has returned with this beautiful story of two lost souls finding one another. This is a terrific read, not to be missed. Welcome back, Alexis!!!

I highly recommend Allie's Moon. Alexis Harrington has written an emotionally powerful story with excellent characterization and vivid descriptions. Her hero and heroine are people who triumph over personal tragedy to touch your heart and make you believe that love can and does make a difference. Her maturity as a writer, and her natural ability to go inside someone's pain and joy and express that in the written word shines in Allie's Moon.
