Sweet and Lovely Book

This was a sweet book - well and simply written, with beautiful language and sentiment. It is hardly the greatest, deepest novel but I found it enjoyable and compelling to read. The characters were well developed and believable to me. I really liked it and would recommend it!

A very moving love story

A MOVING AND MEMORABLE LOVE STORY, ALL ABOUT THE TEXTURE OF ORDINARY LIFE

Powerful love story, eloquently written.

I highly recomend this bittersweet romance. The lyrical writting of Ms.Villegas gives what some would call a tragidy, a triumphant ending. I became so enthralled with the caracters that I had a hard time putting the book down.

Great! You must read this God's gift

First, I'm a Korean. So I'm poor in English. But I have so strong impression after reading Anna's Work that I wanna describe the review. One word, it is Great! Love is not a part of life but it is the methaphor of life. Good luck!

A "must" read for the hopelessly romantic book lover

I believe is a "must" read for anyone who is a "hopeful" romantic. Or at the very least, fell in love after reading "Bridges of Madison County" or shed tears while reading "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. The book that completely enveloped me was "All We Know of Heaven" by Anna Tuttle Villegas. Ms. Villegas' writing captured the very essence of romance along with all of its conflicting emotions between two people. First, she gave the couple equal standing throughout the book simply by alternating the central character in each chapter so that the reader really knows what each person is thinking and how each one feels at the moment -- a deep connection with characters that is usually only created after reading a 600 page novel. Next Ms. Villegas introduced each new chapter with a perfect matched selection of poetry, the reader will become completely enthralled with Emily Dickinson's poems; copying quotations for future use and yearning for more by the end of book. Last but not least, Ms. Villegas eloquent (but not flowery) descriptions distinctly created every emotion that this couple experienced -- it's definitely a style that I would enjoy reading again. In case you wonder how much I liked this book - there are very few books that I would consider reading twice in a lifetime. This one I reread all over again the next weekend. By the way, keep the tissue box nearby.
