Lorenzo is a native of Louisiana and at an early age, writing became his passion. A shy child, he often expressed himself best through words. This passion has followed him throughout his life and his experiences have provided the inspiration for his works and his endeavor to become a published author. At age 18, he joined the Navy and he currently still serves. Since joining the Navy, he has earned four college degrees and he is currently pursuing his master's degree in social work. After completion of his military service, he plans on embarking on his second career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. A key concern that he focuses on is hypermasculinity among black males and the destructive behaviors that hypermasculinity encourages. Healthy expression of feeling is a core tenet of healthy emotional regulation, increased resilience, and success.
