You used to turn on a television set and you'd see Reggie White in a green uniform and you'd say, "Oh, the Eagles are playing." Or you'd see Joe Montana in a red uniform under the center and you'd... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this book years ago, and with the big game approaching I broke it out over the weekend. A classic read, with all his inimitable cliches, and euphemisms, and pontification. It's almost like you're sitting next to him in the booth. Great job.
Big John Madden is the Don Cherry of US Pro Football! Pick Up On It!

John Madden, Maddencruiser and all loves Football and wants you out there to love it too. All his books are well worth the buy and at least you can read them easily as John does like he does when ordering lunch - no 'banjo orders' - he doesn't "string" things along. He gives it to you plain, straight and to the point. Always liked John but the sorry partners he has had to be saddled with lately - Al Michaels [nee Dave Bronstein, at least that's what he played in a 1968 episode of Hawai'i Five-0] - yeuch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Interesting As Madden Can Be.

FOX Commentator John Madden's book All Madden, Hey, I'm Talking Pro Football, is a nice little romp through the meaningless things All Madden. You ever watch a game and hear John babble on about the socks a player is wearing, or how he went ice fishing after a Vikings game? Well the same thing goes with this book. He babbles on and on about weird things, but he does come up with a lot of great insights and football facts just like he does in game commentaries.I just wish they had use the word 'Hey' a little less.
John madden is the Greatest.

John madden is absolutely awesome. He writes just like he announces games, which is great because you aren't supposed to write like you talk. There's a chapter called, "Hating the Cowboys is Healthy"! Hwo can you not love this guy? Buy the book if you're even remotely interested in football.
