Great Book!

My son is a reluctant reader and his teacher began the school year by reading this book aloud. He LOVED it and has his own copy now. Lois Lowery has done it again!

All About Sam

If you like comedy you will love All About Sam. This is a book where you start reading and can't stop. Sam is born into a family of three with a mom, dad and his sister Anastasia. He does not have a room so his crib is in the pantry until his family moves into a house. This book tells the reader about Sam's birth to age four. It is written from Sam's point of view. Once Sam flushed his sister's gold fish down the toilet and stuffs peas under the rug. Can Sam and his family live through the terrible 2's? Find out in All about Sam.

All About Sam

Wow! I would give this book 10 stars. ********** This book isabout a boy's life upt age six. Sam is the name of the boy. Sam doesall these funny things. Sam has an older sister and a mom and dad. A couple of things Sam did was put his mom's makeup into the toilet. He also put his sister's fish into the toilet. He cut his hair , and he had a pet worm. That is all I have to say. if you read the book you will find the rest of the funny things Sam does.

All About Sam

"Who am I?" the newborn wonders as loving faces peer around him. He's Sam! Anastasia Krupnik's mischeivious and hilarious little brother. Follow Sam from birth and life in the "pan tree" through toddlerhood and nursery school (where Sam can't wait to give someone a shot!). Unravel the mysteries of life with precocious little Sam. Adults and primary students (ages 7-12) will roll in the aisles with this wonderful book by Lois Lowry.

Each year this book is my 2nd grade class's favorite!

As a 29 year veteran of 2nd grade, I know how important it is to read aloud to children. All About Sam is, hands down, my class's favorite book of the year. The giggling starts on the first page, and by chapter 2 they are begging me every day to read "just one more chapter." As we finish the book, it is my delight to tell them that Lois Lowry has written a follow-up, Attaboy Sam. I would highly recommend this book as a read aloud to the age 7 and up crowd!
