Of all the books I have read on Palms, this was the best, here in Florida ,"Everything' is some sort of Palm tree (per their labels" ths book explains the difference in the Palms & the not really palm trees, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know all about Palms & their "cousins"
European readers

Good content structure and approach to the descriptions. On the other side, the european readers like me should be aware that the temperature thresholds of the palmtrees are expressed in Farenheit units and some palmtree names do not match the European nomenclature, apart from this, the book is excellent.

Very informative book, great pictures! Shows you how to decorate your garden with palms, palm problem solving, and a huge section showing a variety of palms I have never even seen in other palm books! I recommend this book just for the great information it provides for the average homeowner who loves palm plants.
