A little boy is visited by an unruly gang of aliens who cause a night of fun, mischief, and opposites. Readers pull the tabs in this sturdy board book and the opposite of the subject on the page appears. Illustrations.
My son, now 4, loves this book. It is one of his favorite books to read at night before bed. It has cute pictures and concepts to help learn the opposites of big and small, in and out, work and play and the list goes on.
Opposites

A cute book with vivid and funny pictures. The pull-out attribute of this books adds to the charm and will entertain little ones not only in seeing the opposites on the page but also using the tactile opposite of pulling(out the page) and pushing (in the page). Also great for that little Space Explorer!
A favorite at our house too

Very cute pictures of cartoon aliens doing silly things illustrate the principles of up-down, open-closed etc. I am still amused reading this with my toddler, even after numerous iterations, and he picks it out again and again. I also really appreciate how (relatively) indestructible this book is compared to most pull-flap type books. My 18 month old has torn many of the flaps off of the conventional type (which makes them less interesting to read) but this book has sliding parts of the page to show new images that seem to hold up well to really serious toddler mauling. Highly recommended!
Very cute book

My son is almost 3 and is a little old for an opposites book, but he absolutely loves Alien Opposites! The illustrations are very cute and the story (as interpreted by the pictures) is a lot of fun. The pull-out-the-flaps design is a neat idea and it's sturdier than the typical lift-the-flaps type book. This is a fun way for your little one to learn about opposites (short, tall, near, far, etc.). This book is asked for again and again at our house. We definitely recommend it.
My 14 Month Old Loves This Book!

I've already gone through 2 copies of this book because she loved them to death! The book has a nice, rhythmic flow and she loves to pull the large cardboard tabs that contain both story text and pictures. Since her attention span is still very limited, the book is short and sweet. Highly recommended.
