This is a very good book. Very balanced and touches many areas in sufficient detail. The historical inserts are nice and the problems are well thought out. I recommend this book.

Easy to Understand

I bought this text to supplement the text assigned by my instructor. I find it easier to understand than the assigned text and has been a great help. You can't beat the price. After all, Math is not like fashion. It doesn't change much over the years. An older text can be very useful when trying to find concepts presented in another way in order to clarify understanding.
