Algae is a reference book every hobbyist needs handy

The photographs and information present on the different types of algae are excellent. The author provides the advantages and disadvantages of each species and covers different stages in the life cycle if it is known to change its appearance. Then there is advice on what to do to combat each type. I feel better trusting a book than listening to a kid who is working at the LFS.
