Delightful set of stories!

I picked up this book at the library for my 8 year old who thoroughly enjoyed it. My 10 year old had to read it too, and he also loved Alex and the Cat. Hearing them both say that they loved this little book I decided to read it also. Helen Griffith perfectly captures the essence of the aimiable, impulsive dog and the rather aloof, rational cat. Each story is delightful and even I cackled on several occasions. This is one I can see our kids reading again and again, so we'll be ordering it for our library. I recommend it to all pet lovers!

Funny, cute book

My 2nd grader just started this book tonight and loves it. It is easy to read and he can understand the humour in the book. I even laughed in some places. I wish there were more!
