A Flying Bed!

Ever thought of name books for the immediate family for Christmas? This was one of five 'name' books purchased for family members. It's pretty neat to be given a book with your name in the title, and the 6-year old was very interested. So his aunt sat and read him 'his' book. This book is out-of-print, so it was a used book. It was in good shape and it was a family name so it worked out well.

my four year old boy loves this book. the mother scolds the boy and sends him to bed until morning. bored, his bed becomes a flying bed and he goes on an adventure-saves a man in need, performs in the circus, and has "the best meal he"s ever had"--when he finds himself waking the next morning by his mother who apologizes for being cross with him. I like that the mother is remorsweful, and apologizes, and that his dreams are more interesting than any tv show he was banned from watching when sent to his room. It is fun, playful, and has simple, nice illustration.
