One of the best on aviation history.

It is rare to find books that are balanced and this is. Not tedious with dates and aircraft model numbers, this book has plenty of human interest stories of early aviators. Wonderfully illustrated not only with black and white exterior shots but plenty of interior pictures, pictures of leading players, and colorful period publicity posters. Also full of snap shots in time, giving an excellent flavor for aviation in times gone by. Definitely the best book in my aviation library.
