Origami master John Montroll introduces nearly 50 figures that range from simple to sophisticated. They're perfect for those who are familiar with the basics?but seek more challenging models as well as for?experienced folders. Models include a cup, hat, sailboat, crane, frog, and fish for beginners; a pheasant, robin, pig, and octahedron for intermediate folders; and a deer, elephant, bee, and waterwheel for advanced origamists - plus many other imaginative figures. Clear instructions and crisp diagrams accompany each project.
Wonderful work. I read this after I took a course with him at NYU. Excellent professor, historian, africanist and an overall great man. Informative and brilliant, just like him.
Can't believe...

...that I'm the first one to review this book. It's a little gem that dispels so many myths about Black people. Part of regaining who we are is to understand that we were not put here to serve. That business, architecture, administration and wealth are as central to our culture as spirituality and prior to this 500 year nightmare, those things were omnipresent amongst our societies. It is imperative that Africans come to this realization.
