My main complaint with this book was that it was a choppy read. The author's mixture of code, object properties, methods, and events right along with explanation text made for a hard-to-read text. Other than that I felt that the book did cover most of it's topics thoroughly. Beware, though, if you want to pass the VB certification text, make sure you supplement this book in the areas of (1) Distribution -- this book does not cover secondary .cab files adequately, (2) Drag and Drop/OLE embedding - vertually no coverage of these, and (3) Weak coverage of ActiveX documents. I passed the VB 5.0 exam with this being my primary guide, plus, mastering VB 5 by Petroutsos and the latest Transcender. Also, this book provides _no_ coverage of RDO or ADO.
