Good for learning Best Practices and 'advanced fundamentals'
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 26 years ago
This book fills a void present in VB books. You have either beginner books and, at the other end, books filled with prewritten code, mostly for advanced programmers. Both of these categories have their place. But when you want to move on and learn, not just a few gimmicks, but some of the actual fundamentals that can make you a consistently good developer (not just coder), this appears to be a good book. Both authors appear to have a good command of VB as developers.
Lots of tips for the advanced, well explained.

Every chapter is written by a different person, a specialist on that specific field. It's definetly not a reference guide. Begginers don't waste your money. I would say it's a must for the advanced programmer who wants to learn even more.
Every developer must read this book !

- The book is funny and wrote in a special way, so you'll never be boried reading it. - It is not a Guide to VB5, but it contains a set of tips and suggestment (some very useful). - It is made by more than one writer, so there are many points of view about the same argument. - It's not a Reference book, it's a book that you had to buy only to increase your knowledgements about VB.
